PRE-CLASS MATERIAL: Use your class notes and project guides as your preparation for wrapping up your construction. Keep your pattern pieces handy as you work through the steps; the goal is to practice evaluating your structural shaping and applying the professional assembly techniques you’ll need for a polished look. This review highlights the key construction principles you’ll need to feel confident creating your final piece. As you study, focus not only on remembering the steps, but on understanding why and when you would use each shaping method.
